Shipping and Receiving

Your order is shipped from a warehouse located in the United States. Orders are shipped via FedEx, UPS, or USPS. Please allow 2-5 business days for standard ground delivery depending on your location. Most orders ship within one business day. You will be notified by email if an item is out of stock. Express Shipping is available on most items throughout the USA. Allow 2 business day delivery for Express Service to most locations, subject to carrier transit schedules. Kimono Shop is not responsible for carrier delays.

We ship to the USA and Canada only. Canadian orders ship Ground service only. Transit times vary but normally take 7-10 business days for delivery.

Return Policy

We understand that online shopping entails making purchases "sight unseen" and we want you to be satisfied with your purchase.

• If you wish to return or exchange an item, a request must be made within 30 days of the ship date, after which merchandise must be sent back within 15 days. Merchandise must not be worn, washed, altered, or contain any tobacco aroma or pet hair. Items must be returned in their original packaging (clear glassine bags for yukatas and kimonos). Returns must include the return authorization number. You may insert a note inside the package it can be written on the outside of the return package. Merchandise that appears to be worn, washed, and not in its original condition may not qualify for a refund or exchange and may be subject to a restocking fee or returned to you. Certain items are not refundable and are not eligible for returns: Headbands, Hachimaki, Socks, Obi's, Gift Bags, Jewelry, and Clearance Merchandise. • We do not require the original outer packaging used for shipping, but we encourage you to reuse and recycle, if possible. You may use the carrier of your choice to return your package and we recommend obtaining a tracking number to verify your shipment to our return center.
• Refunds will be processed, less original shipping costs. Orders that are refused at delivery are subject to return shipping costs and a restocking fee.
• Returns of merchandise with Free Shipping are refunded, less the outgoing shipping cost.
• Returns of multiple items from the same customer may be subject to restocking fees.
• Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Kimono Shop will refund your shipping costs if your merchandise was damaged during the initial shipping process, or if you receive an incorrect or defective item.
• Orders returned without a "Return Authorization" may be refused and subject to restocking fees. All sales are final after 30 days. Contact us for Return Authorization.

Gift Wrap

We offer gift bags for most items. If a gift bag is available, it appears as an option in your shopping cart along with the cost. Gifts are shipped in an attractive 100% eco-friendly, jute bag with a drawstring closure. These reusable bags are made from natural plant fiber and are durable, breathable, and biodegradable. The bags vary from printed designs to solid colors and are suitable for all occasions. We highly recommend reusing these bags. Your personalized message, if provided, will be included on a handwritten tag. Prices will not be disclosed to the recipient. Gift bags are non-refundable.

Is It Safe To Use My Credit Card?

Collection of Sales Tax

We do not collect sales or use taxes in all states. For states imposing sales or use taxes, your purchase is subject to tax, unless it is specifically exempt from taxation. Typographical Errors - If a product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for a product listed at the incorrect price. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Kimono Shop shall issue a refund to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
